EJARI (from Arabic “my rent”) – mandatory state registration of long-term lease agreements for a period of 12 months or more.
What is EJARI for?
Ejari is the official confirmation of the registration of your lease with the Government of Dubai. This is your official confirmation of residence in the UAE and it is required in cases where an application is submitted for any type of service:
• sponsorship of a family visa
• obtaining permission to move in
• opening a bank account
• obtaining a commercial license
• connecting utilities to Dubai Electricity and Water Authority
Who is registering?
Both parties are responsible, but usually the tenant registers and pays the fees.
DOCUMENTATION:

• passport, visa, Emirates ID of the renter and lessor
• certificate of ownership
PRICE:
In specialized centers the amount is about $60, and in the Dubai REST mobile application – $48.

Ejari is the legalization of the relationship between the tenant and the landlord, as well as reliable state protection of the rights of both parties, so we advise you to conclude such an agreement.
