The Main Attractions

Dubai has some incredible sights to see. We love that there is a beautiful blend of both old and new. The bright city lights pave the way for history and culture and we want to make sure you experience all of it! Below, we have listed a few of our ‘must see’ attractions and places to visit while you’re here. Whether you’re a long-term resident or here as a tourist, we hope our suggestions help to inspire.

Dubai Creek

Embrace the old town and take a trip across Dubai Creek. With Abras available every few minutes and a super low price, it’s the most amazing way to truly experience old Dubai and learn more about our culture and history. If you’re interested in learning what Dubai really is about and want to step away from the glitz and glamour, this is a must do for you!

Dubai Frame

For an incredible vantage point to see across both ‘new’ and ‘old’ Dubai, head to Dubai Frame. A 150-meter sky high glass bridge. For the price of a Starbucks cup of coffee, you can go to the top and take that ultimate Instagram pic!

Global Village

Global is a sprawling representation of over 70 countries. There are a number of funfair rides, presentations and fun shows for kids of all ages. The most incredible selection of food from around the world and cute streets lined with wares. Global Village is open from November until April due to it being mostly outdoors.

La Mer

A relatively new addition to our coastline. The cozy but vibrant La Mer offers restaurants, cafes, kid’s attractions and even a selection of bars for the grown-ups! The amazing development allows for you to either laze away on the beach, do some surfside shopping or pick up some tasty and delicious food with a multitude of different cuisines available.

Kite Beach

Kite Beach perfectly combines being active whilst also being able to have a lay down on the beach. This bustling location has jogging tracks, fully functional facilities such as toilets, showers and changing rooms, quirky cafes and the coolest inflatable assault course perched on the ocean! There’s an activity for all ages and it’s super friendly on the wallet!

Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa

This one is pretty self-explanatory. With hundreds of shops, cafes, bars and children’s activities, you could visit every day for a month and not run out of new things to see and do. The majestic fountains are a sight to see, with regular light and water shows you won’t miss out!

Burj Al Arab

The world’s first and only 7-star hotel, we don’t need to explain why. See for yourself! It’s easily one of the most iconic buildings in the middle east, if not the entire world. Photos of this gorgeous structure truly do not do it justice. When you finally see it in person, we promise you’ll get shivers down your spine. That’s without talking about the extraordinary service you will receive once inside.

Skydive Dubai

Enough said, daredevils to try it if you’re brave enough! Personally, we would rather observe from the ground! Skydive Dubai allows you to freefall over the beautiful Palm Jumeirah and experience breathtaking views of Dubai and its connected emirates.
